42 Tirana is a member of the 42 Network, the world’s largest tuition-free computer programming school system, spanning 57 campuses in 32 countries and serving over 21,000 students globally. The network is internationally recognized for its innovative approach to software engineering education, which prioritizes accessibility, self-guided learning, and practical experience.

It offers a unique, peer-to-peer, tuition-free computer science education for Albanian citizens. Its philosophy embraces a transformative, self-directed, and experiential learning model, well-suited to Albania’s evolving technological landscape. By introducing this model to Albania, 42 Tirana aims to equip young people with in-demand digital skills while addressing key challenges, including digital illiteracy, brain drain, and the widening ICT skills gap.
