READ invites Albanian diaspora researchers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators based in the United States and across the Americas to submit proposals for the READ Albanian Diaspora Forum USA 2026.

Organized by AADF through its READ program, in collaboration with the Harvard Albanian Students Association, the Forum will take place at Harvard University in Boston on December 2–3, 2026.

The Forum will bring together members of the Albanian diaspora to develop practical, high-impact ideas addressing key development priorities in Albania, with a focus on higher education, AI and technology, entrepreneurship, and agriculture.

Selected contributors will join collaborative working sessions to further develop their proposals into actionable projects, with support from AADF, READ, and a network of diaspora experts and partners.

First Call for Butrint Community Grants

An opportunity to develop local ideas and initiatives.

The Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF) and the Butrint Management Foundation (BMF) are launching the first call for applications under the Butrint Community Grants Scheme.

This scheme aims to support individuals, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations seeking to develop ideas, investments, and activities connected to Butrint National Park and the surrounding communities.

Application period: July 16–October 15, 2026
Funding: Grants of up to USD 20,000
