42 Tirana welcomed the first group of 160 students in the Common Core phase!

42 Tirana officially welcomed its first cohort of 160 students into the Common Core, the foundational phase of the 42 curriculum focused on peer learning, self-directed progress, and hands-on problem solving.

During this phase, students work on projects that build strong technical skills in C programming, software development fundamentals, and collaborative teamwork, forming a solid base for future specialization.

The launch event, held at the Pyramid of Tirana, gathered students, partners, and supporters to celebrate this milestone for tech education in Albania.

With the support of AADF, 42 Tirana continues to strengthen the country’s digital ecosystem and empower the next generation of innovators through a modern, inclusive, and tuition-free learning model.

42 Tirana is an official member of the international “École 42” network, founded in Paris in 2013 by French entrepreneur Xavier Niel.

This innovative network spans over 50 campuses worldwide, from Paris, Lisbon, and Rome to Tokyo, Dubai, and San Francisco, offering a unique educational model with no teachers, no tuition fees, and learning entirely based on real-world, project-driven collaboration.

In Albania, 42 Tirana was inaugurated in May 2025 by the AADF with the mission to develop new technological talent and prepare the next generation of digital professionals.
The initiative represents a significant step in strengthening Albania’s digital ecosystem and expanding opportunities for young people pursuing careers in technology.
