AADF Launches New Scholarship Program in Albania

On May 19, 2025, the Innovation Hub at the Pyramid of Tirana became the stage for the launch of the AADF Scholarship Program. This initiative is designed to enhance educational opportunities for Albanian students, promoting local and international academic excellence.

The program has two main components:

• Awarding scholarships for the talented students in dual or foreign degree programs at local institutions in Albania.
• Supporting postgraduate studies at world-class institutions in the United States.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including Mr. Michael D. Granoff, the AADF’s Chairman of the Board, Mr. Martin Mata and Mr. Aleksandër Sarapuli, the AADF Co-CEOs, Ms. Nancy VanHorn, the U.S. Embassy Charge d’Affaires, Ms. Ogerta Manastirliu, Minister of Education and Sports, and Representatives from RIT, College of Europe, and Holberton Albania.

With inspiring speeches and the signing of Cooperation Agreements with partner institutions, the launch event highlighted the AADF’s commitment to addressing challenges and promoting academic excellence in Albania’s higher education system. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey to empower young talent, reduce brain drain, and shape a brighter future for the country.
