Empowering Museums Through Technology: AADF’s Commitment to Enhance Albania’s Cultural Heritage

The AADF remains dedicated to its mission of preserving Albania’s cultural heritage. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the “Empowering Museums Through Technology” project with the Ministry of Culture reaffirms its commitment to implementing global best practices, which will significantly enhance Albania’s cultural landscape.

AADF has allocated $60,000 for the pilot phase of the project, which will be implemented at the National Museum of Iconography ONUFRI in Berat and the National Museum of Medieval Art in Korça. This collaborative phase, in partnership with Cultural Heritage Imaging, will pave the way for subsequent project stages, with the ultimate goal of making the Albanian museums’ exceptional collections accessible through interactive means.
