25/05/2021 Education & Leadership How will we live together? TUMO’s installation at the Venice Biennale Architecture has the potential to unite people in spaces designed as collective environments, not merely for existence but to thrive, flourish, inhabit, and express life, tapping into architecture’s inherent optimism. TUMO’s installation at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia showcased dozens of learning experiences of students from Armenia, Albania, France, Germany, Lebanon, Russia, and Ukraine. Their unique stories are bound together by a common thread of freedom of choice, personalization, individualization, teamwork, and real-life experiences. The model of the Pyramid of Tirana, designed by the renowned Dutch architectural studio MVRDV, was displayed in all its grandeur. As the new home of TUMO Tirana, it will serve as a gathering place where the general public and aspiring teens immersed in learning 21st-century technology and design skills will come together. The Pyramid will serve as a point of convergence, bridging the gap between the past and the promising future ahead. The Pyramid of Tirana and TUMO showcase architecture not only as a collective form but also as a vibrant hub for culture and learning. Gallery
