AADF Annual Report – New Narratives

AADF’s Annual Report 2023, themed “New Narratives,” showcases a year of significant impact, with $121 million invested in total in 78 transformative projects throughout the years and the new narratives introduced in cities, schools, communities, and beyond.

Notably, 2023 marked the opening of TUMO Tirana at the Pyramid, now a free, state-of-the-art digital training center, symbolizing Albania’s shift from a challenging past to a promising digital future.

This year also celebrated Albania’s cultural heritage, with UNESCO recognizing the tradition of Transhumance. This highlights AADF’s dedication to preserving and promoting Albania’s rich traditions and culture.

The voices of our leadership resonate throughout the report, reflecting on the foundation’s achievements and the partnerships that have made them possible. “2023 was a year of considerable accomplishment for the AADF. Our goal, as always, is to build a broad and deep partnership with the people of Albania to create a sustainable ladder of opportunity for every Albanian,” states Michael D. Granoff, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
