The AADF officially launched SDA by Protik in the presence of esteemed guests, including Prime Minister Edi Rama, the director of NAIS, Ms. Mirlinda Karcanaj, the Mayor of Tirana, Mr. Erion Veliaj, as well as representatives of the AADF Board of Trustees.

The collaboration between AADF, Protik Center, the National Agency for Information Society, and the Municipality of Tirana aims to train more than 1,500 young ICT professionals. The ultimate goal is to transform the ICT ecosystem in Albania into an appealing market for foreign investors.

The coding academy will provide advanced programming skills in Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, DevOps, and Software Testing over a five-year period. It adopts a unique learning approach and strives to create employment opportunities for its graduates.

SDA by Protik follows the successful model of the Software Development Academy, which has assisted skilled professionals in commencing their journey into the IT world. Since 2014, it has empowered more than 1,200 certified trainers and graduated 15,000 individuals.
