AADF partners with the Albanian government to introduce ICT education to primary schools

The future of Albania begins with the education of its youth today. Digital transformation plays a critical role in shaping Albania’s future and its journey towards economic development. The AADF strives to act as a catalyst for societal transformation and economic prosperity by making active investments in education and technology.

This endeavor will not only guarantee the competitiveness of the current and future workforce in the global market but also foster the growth of creativity and problem-solving abilities among Albanian schoolchildren. The AADF and the Albanian government have collaboratively embarked on a five-year project. This initiative encompasses the establishment of 100 ICT labs equipped with 1,600 computer devices, the implementation of an ICT curriculum for students from first to third grade, along with integration of the coding platform as a central learning tool.

Additionally, training for the teachers involved in the program is an integral part of this comprehensive effort. By expanding access to ICT education, we aim to bridge the digital divide and ignite the process of digital transformation in Albania.
