CleanScore and AADF provide easy access to valuable academic textbooks

The AADF introduced three recently translated academic textbooks in October 2019, now ready for use in university lecture halls across Albania. These academic books were originally published in English and other languages by esteemed publishers like Pearson and McGraw-Hill. Professors and students were enthusiastic about incorporating the newly released editions of “Financial Accounting,” “International Business,” and “Personal Finance” into their study curricula.

Together with the “Entrepreneurship” textbook, these four books are now available for purchase online and have been promoted at universities in Kosovo and North Macedonia throughout the ongoing academic year. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the project remains active in translating international academic textbooks.

Currently, the translation of the fifth book, “Fundamentals of Management,” is underway, with scientific editing led by Prof. Shyqyri Llaci. The translation team comprises Prof. Rezart Prifti (FEUT), Prof. Olta Nexhipi (UAMD), Prof. Ermira Qosja (UET), and Prof. Ilir Kapaj. The electronic versions of these five books can now be accessed on the Libre.al platform – Albania’s pioneering platform for the secure publication and purchase of electronic books, ensuring copyright protection through DRM technology. The platform aims to minimize barriers for readers, promoting wider access to reading material while reducing book costs by providing quick and secure access to electronic formats.
