First-graders during Coding Class at “Osman Myrderizi” Primary School

First-grade students of the “Osman Myrderizi” primary school in Tirana received some unusual guests during one of their coding classes in their state-of-the-art ICT lab.

The AADF’s Chairman of the Board, Mr. Michael Granoff, along with Mr. Emanuel Salinas, World Bank Country Manager for Albania, and Ms. Bora Muzhaqi, Minister of State for Youth, joined the class. They witnessed firsthand the enjoyable manner in which young students learn coding through CodeMonkey’s Beaver Achiever.

The AADF has provided computer equipment for 100 ICT labs in schools around Albania as well as the educational coding platform CodeMonkey that allows beginners to learn computer programming concepts and languages.
