Fostering Academic Collaboration: READ Albania welcomes seven new partner universities

READ Albania is on a mission to involve up to 100 researchers from the Albanian diaspora to collaborate with higher education institutions in the country. This collaboration will encompass joint research projects, Ph.D. supervision, curriculum development, and co-teaching initiatives.

As a testament to its progress, READ Albania has recently welcomed the inclusion of seven new partner universities. The first three universities that joined the program in May 2021 were the University of Tirana, the University of Medicine in Tirana, and the Polytechnic University of Tirana. They are joined today by: “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, “Aleksandër Xhuvani” University of Elbasan, “Luigj Gurakuqi” University of Shkodër, “Fan S. Noli” University of Korça, “Eqerem Çabej” University of Gjirokastër, Sports University of Tirana, University of New York in Tirana, Polis University, European University of Tirana, Marin Barleti University, and Epoka University.

READ aims to make a significant impact on higher education institutions in Albania by engaging the Albanian scientific diaspora. They will contribute their expertise and resources further to advance higher education and scientific research in the country.
