Gjirokastra Hosts meeting of BID/TID Network of Albania

Gjirokastra, also recognized as the city of stone, played host to the latest gathering of the BID/TID Network of Albania. This meeting was organized with the support of the Albanian-American Development Foundation.

Attendees comprised business representatives, along with board members from BID Shkodra, BID/TID Korça, BID Berati, TID Kruja, TID Tirana, TID Vlora, and TID Gjirokastra. Taking part in these discussions were also representatives from the municipalities of these cities, featuring Mr. Rudin Beka, Deputy Mayor of Shkodra; Ms. Esmeralda Llongo, Deputy Mayor of Gjirokastra; and Mr. Xhuljan Kafexhiu from the Municipality of Kruja, responsible for tourism. TID Gjirokastra, BID/TID Korça, and BID Berat presented their concrete steps for aligning with the BID Law, with the other associations expected to follow suit in the near future.
