The international jury composed of esteemed architects, researchers, academics, as well as representatives from the Albanian government and the AADF selected the winning proposal from the numerous prestigious architecture firms that participated in the competition organized by Phase Eins, a company specializing in international architecture design competition management. The winning proposal aligned perfectly with the museum’s mission to bring people together. The Albanian Jewish Museum is set to become a cultural magnet for the region, as well as a source of pride for both current residents and the Albanian Jewish community. The museum’s goal will be to craft an experience that extends far beyond its physical walls. The AADF congratulates the Israeli architectural firm Kimmel-Eshkolot Architects for submitting a proposal that seamlessly blends historical heritage within a contemporary space designed to cater to both locals and visitors alike.
