Kruja Mosaic: Experiencing the Charm of Kruja at Tirana’s New Bazaar

The city of Kruja, with its rich cultural heritage and historical significance for all Albanians, took center stage at the Kruja Mosaic promotional event held in Tirana. Under the stewardship of the AADF and in collaboration with the Municipality of Kruja, the Municipality of Tirana, TID Kruja, and TID Tirana business associations, along with the Regional Development Agency 2, the event showcased musical performances, traditional dances, culinary delicacies, and an exhibition of the diverse handicrafts for which Kruja is renowned.

The collaboration between TID associations aims to promote businesses, regional culture, and the socio-economic revitalization of the area. Among the esteemed guests in attendance were representatives from the AADF Board of Trustees, Mr. Erjon Veliaj, the Mayor of Tirana, and Mrs. Eglantina Gjermeni, the Member of Parliament representing the city of Kruja, as well as representatives of the various diplomatic missions in Tirana.

The evening’s highlight was the Artisans’ Fashion Night, where artisanal handicrafts created by Kruja’s artisans using traditional techniques were showcased, alongside innovative designs by the talented fashion designer Gerta Oparaku.
