Memorandum of Understanding opens the path to the revival of Durres and its historical heritage

The Roman Amphitheatre of Durres served as the backdrop to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Integrated Management Plan for Archaeological Areas A and B of the city of Durrës between the AADF, the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Durrës.

The aim of this new partnership is to establish a strategy for the development of this area with a clear and measurable framework. This strategy will give priority to sustainability and take into account the needs of the local community.

After signing the memorandum, the subsequent phase involves drafting the terms of reference for the Integrated Management Plan encompassing Archaeological Areas A and B, along with the architectural project of TID Durres within this zone.
