Revitalizing Cultural Heritage: A Visit to the TID Durres Prospective Area by Minister of Culture and AADF Co-CEOs

Ms. Elva Margariti, the Minister of Culture of Albania, accompanied by AADF Co-CEOs Mr. Martin Mata and Mr. Aleksandër Sarapuli, visited the prospective area of TID Durres. This project, supported by AADF, involves the preparation of a project design aimed at transformation and revitalization. During the visit, project architects, engineers, and experts presented their plans and proposals to the esteemed guests.

The TID Durres project design is a collaborative effort between the Albanian-American Development Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, and the Municipality of Durres. This project aims to unlock the full potential of the Durres archaeological area. It encompasses both the physical transformations and the management of the area, intended not only to enhance its attractiveness but also to reshape its tourist offerings for visitors.

Through the collaborative efforts of AADF and its partners, the TID Durres project aims to revitalize this important area, crafting a more captivating destination for both tourists and visitors.
