Students Present Innovative Solutions Based on Artificial Intelligence

The Unveiling New Horizons event brought together students from across Albania who participated in the AI for Youth project to showcase their groundbreaking AI solutions. Hosted in the presence of the AADF Board of Trustees and the Minister of Education and Sports, the event highlighted the innovative spirit of Albanian youth and their ability to leverage artificial intelligence for social good.

High school students, trained through Intel’s AI curriculum, presented a range of AI-powered projects designed to address real-world community challenges. Among the standout solutions were an electronic system for class attendance, fire prevention systems, sign language interpretation tools, and health allergy management applications. Each project reflected the students’ creativity, technical skills, and dedication to using AI to make a positive impact on their communities.

These student-driven innovations were the result of over two years of AI education under the AI for Youth project, which, since 2022, has equipped over 1,500 students and 75 ICT teachers with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the digital age. To further support this initiative, AADF has constructed 21 advanced AI labs in schools, enabling hands-on learning and real-world problem-solving experiences for students.
