Memorandum of Understanding Paves Way for AI Empowerment among Albanian Youth

The upcoming generation of innovators requires the necessary skills and resources to comprehend the concepts behind Artificial Intelligence, its design, and its significance in today’s digital world.

AADF has recognized a strategic opportunity to collaborate with Intel and introduce an innovative program aimed at empowering Albanian students with AI technology and essential social skills.

The AI for Youth program is currently being implemented in over 20 countries worldwide, enabling participants to acquire and apply AI skills in solving real-world problems.

AADF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Sports, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the AI for Youth project—a 2.5-year program set to be implemented in its pilot phase in 5 public schools and 2 training centers. Seven AI labs will be constructed, providing certified teachers and students the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of AI. The project aims to demystify AI by equipping participants with the mindset and skills essential for AI readiness.

AADF Chairman of the Board, Mr. Michael D. Granoff, and the Minister of Education and Sports, Ms. Evis Kushi, emphasized that this program will offer Albanian youth an opportunity to learn AI skills responsibly. The program, developed by Intel, a company known for creating world-changing technology and innovation, will enable them to apply these skills effectively.
