CleanScore MoU Signing at Luarasi University

Today on April 19th, in the premises of LUARASI University, Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF) represented by Co-CEOs Mr. Alexander and Mr. Martin Mata and Luarasi University represented by Rector Mr. Arben Malaj, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the CleanScore Project.

This project aims to introduce automated test correction for student exams, which will increase transparency in the assessment of students; and also, improve the quality of teaching by replacing the local textbooks with international versions.

The AADF is funding the $400,000 project which is currently being piloted in one public and one private university, but will expand to other interested universities. CleanScore is currently being implemented in the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tirana and the European University of Tirana where over 3,500 students in 20 different subjects were tested through CleanScore. AADF has begun the translation in Albanian of three international books in the economic field which will be available to students by ensuring qualitative and contemporary texts. Implementation of this project at the Faculty of Justice of the University of Tirana will begin in June.
