Yesterday, the Protik Innovation Center, in cooperation with IPSED – Institute for Promotion of Social and Economic Development, and in partnership with the National Agency for Education, Professional Training and Qualifications, held the first meeting of the CONSULTATIVE PLATFORM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT IN PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION. This Platform is intended to contribute to the professional development of the Professional High School Education Teachers by creating space for information exchange, consultation on the best methods pursued by different programs and recommendations for further intervention in the professional development of teachers. Invited to this roundtable were various national and international partners engaged in skills development and vocational training such as the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth, IZHA, AADF, SDC, GIZ, ADA, UNDP, Swisscontact, RisiAlbania Project, Culturcontact, Advantage Austria, etc. At the end of this roundtable, significant conclusions were reached on the need to: (a) unify the curricula related to different vocations and professions in the Public High Schools with Professional Education in Albania, and (b) preparation of training programs and the increase of competences of the Professional High School Education teachers.
